Charlton Heston Is...The Omega Man

A few images from the post-apocalyptic classic, The Omega Man. The second (and loosest) film adaptation of Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend. While it might be pretty far removed from the source material, I think it's a fun flick on it's own to enjoy on Saturday afternoon.

THE OMEGA MAN is a perfect motion picture. That doesn't necessarily mean it's good, just that it hits exactly the tone it's aiming for (CON AIR and BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS are other perfect films, so-bad-they're-good). This movie is tons o'fun, especially for its dystopian view of the future (i.e., post-1975).

But what's Anthony Zerbe reading in pic #9? A phone book?
