Charlton Heston Is...The Omega Man

A few images from the post-apocalyptic classic, The Omega Man. The second (and loosest) film adaptation of Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend. While it might be pretty far removed from the source material, I think it's a fun flick on it's own to enjoy on Saturday afternoon.

Another wonderful image from the 1962 edition of the Popular Mechanics Home Handyman Illustrated Encyclopedia showing a perfect dream house getaway. Too bad these old books don't have illustration credits, I'd love to find more by the artist.
