Here's some scans from a 1963 home instruction course in animation offered by a company called Cartoonist's Exchange. All you had to do was cut out the pieces, fasten them together, and start posing your figure as it guides you into a career in the animation industry!

I don't know much about the actual company who offered the course I'm afraid. If anybody has any info about these home art-school lessons, please share!
I'll scan more stuff from the animation lesson book at a later time, along with some other items from Cartoonist's Exchange's learning materials. In the meantime here's a link to a high-quality PDF (27 mb) containing the paper figures, complete instruction guide, and introductory lesson for the magic animator!
